Western Dance program encompasses of various dance forms and styles from disco, jazz, hip hop, reggaeton, break, street, pop and bollywood to salsa, a Latin American dance format followed by merengue which are typically danced to western tunes.
Students are grouped under separate batches according to their age and level of expertise to ensure proper focus on every student and also to monitor their progress. Our Western Dance program consists of 3 levels, i.e., Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. The program for the Beginners include introduction to basic warm-up, flexibility exercise, work on the body, hand and foot movement and coordination followed by rhythm training at the Intermediate level. Our programs for these levels are designed to perfect the students in the basics to build a strong foundation for the next level of training. Advanced level program focuses on training on the intricate technicalities, designed moves including control over the footwork, balancing and body control.
Students are taught various dance formats during the regular dance routines on the popular numbers depending upon the physical ability and skill sets of the students. Each dance format takes about 7 to 8 months to complete which typically consists of 3 to 4 dance routines followed by the opportunities to perform at regular intervals at some of the reputed venues to showcase the talents and learning of the students on public platforms.
Admission is open for the students from the age of 7 years.
